I'm not quite sure whether it's right to put everything in the same post, but I just wanted to express my concern, indignation and sorrow for the victims of the Katrina hurricane, the upsetting tumult that ocurred recently in Iraq and the massacre of Sarajevo, which I've recently become aware of, via the film Hotel Rwanda.
...I wish I could be more eloquent about all of this, but it so happens I'm not. I'm just sorry. I guess Orli conveys the feeling.

On another, happier note, I've had a good week, rather busy. There's the São Paulo International Short-Footage Motion Picture Festival going on and I've been attending regularly, everything is interesting and inspiring. Today I've stayed home, courtesy of a hurting uterus, and lived basically on painkillers, sweets, fruit and fanfic. :)

There are actually two major reasons I'm posting today:

One: If you're an Ewan/Hayden (RPS) fan, or in danger of becoming one, you simply must catch up on ducky_chas's WiP fic Better on Holiday. I'm deeply in love with this fic. Its plot flows oh-so-nicely, there's lots of positively brilliant dialogue, Ewan is the lovable bloke and Hayden, well, Ewan shall call him squishy and he shall be Ewan's and he shall be EWAN'S SQUISHY!!1one! :) Guest appearance by Cillian Murphy, who sort of tends to steal the scene because he's too fookin' funny an Irishman XDD So go, go, read it now! (this, Caro, is the fic I meant when I commented on your journal earlier today. I think you'd like it.)

There's something about WiP's; I can never seem to get into them. Waiting for the next chapter really bugs me, and I always forget which chapter I'm up to. This one sounds really good, so let me know when it's finished won't you?

New Orleans was a place I used to tell myself I really wanted to visit, some day. I can only hope that it gets the amount of help and restoration it deserves.

Film Festivals = Teh Cool. Only awfully strange folk though. Which is fun of course!

So you haven't seen the film, also. Shame on you! *lol* Just kidding! It's called "Switchback", though I don't know if it's the same in English, or if our German (so called) translators gave a new English name to the original English one. (Have I mentioned that our German movie translators are very silly sometimes?) Anyway. Starring Jared Leto, Dennis Quaid and Danny Glover. - And a few others you might know, but these three are the main actors. It's a thriller and I really liked it, though they don't bother to even MENTION a reason the bad guy did the things he'd done. But it's thrilling nevertheless. And JARED! 'nuff said. ;)

Yeah. *sighs* But Goddess Caroline can be very demanding at times, you know? Even cruel. For she shows no mercy when it comes to our VigBean AU. I have serious difficulties to write it and I really hate my Viggo and ARGH! It's killing me. Still she always convinces me to try again. *sighs* It's entirely my fault, I know. I think I'd just have to say "no", but somehow I can't. It's...complicated.

OF COURSE I read that! Such a lovely idea! And like I said, I like the pairing. Sounds very interesting. :) And it's a brilliant idea, actually, rp-ing through posts thanks, but it wasn't my idea at all. I "pilfered" it from liars_dance and moldava, who started all that with their brilliant "Gamekeeper/Blouseman" series (VigBean Crossover) over on rugbytackle. :)
And yes, thanks to Caro we have at least a few people over there. *g*

*huggles* I'm so so SO glad to hear you like them!!! =] I've been experimenting with the bw/colour mix, dosing and all that... Boyd is truly beautiful. My most recent squishy is Jared Leto though. The cameras love that man, I've never seen more beautiful pictures of one person! *.*
