Having to search for the whole purpose of the icon seriously pisses me off. It's just not good icon making.
ooh, my thoughts exactly. Icons are 100x100 images that should betray their statement at one glance. They may reveal more on careful inspection, but they should be clear.
Who's Miyavi? *curious*
it feels slightly odd for me to just take someone's base and do all the stuff I normally do to my bases... it doesn't feel right for some reason.
I used to work with other people's bases, and I do that mostly when I can't be bothered to look up pictures or can't find good ones.
Michael freaked me out much of the time. I also felt (shallowly) that he wasn't attractive enough for Nikita. And he certainly wasn't animated enough to make up for that... there are a lot of people who aren't quite so pretty in the face, but their personalities just sparkle and you don't notice. Michael was not one of those people, dammit.
I think Michael is purrfect for Nikita, precisely because he isn't animated. She's too full of emotion and it's great to see her hitting her face time and again against the unfeeling wall that is Michael. It makes their bond all the more interesting, though it doesn't get any easier on her... and wheee, someone to exchange thoughts on LFN!
