Quidditch, opera and a sew
Dec. 2nd, 2003 12:24 pm*squirming in glee, can hardly keep from squealing*
It's a sunny morning. ^^ At last!!!! We had two weeks of end-of-the-afternoon rain. I do like the soft sound of rain against my umbrella (it's very inspiring), but I don't like that water "climbs" my jeans all the way up to my knees.
I had a weird dream last night.
( First of all, I was a lobster )
I went to the opera last night: Offenbach's Tales of Hoffman. It was... wondrous. Fantastic. It was so sad and sadistic and melancholically ironic, what they did to love... *muses*
It was beautifully sang in French, with the subtitles displaying above. The costumes, the characterization, the scenery, the mirrors and glitter and painted smiles and drunk despair and dellusion were amazing.
Opera, champagne and chocolate for me, and a toast for my good results at the exams. ^^
I'd missed the theater.. it's all bright with Christmas decoration, and the ribbons for the 450 years of my city. *is so very attached to it*
Off I go... the preparatory course awaits! I still have a lot of studying ahead, but it's great that school is over and now I have the time for the wonders and pleasures of life.
