this means so much to me, you have no idea. When I was writing, I stared and stared at my screen for several minutes after I'd written Curt saying "love". I tried to find a more informal word, believing that Curt wouldn't like to put it that way. But then I realised that it couldn't be written any other way, because the story turned out to be about Curt coming to terms with the fact that he is indeed in love with Brian, and deciding that he will damn well fight for it.
..and to think this started out as a funny piece to play with the endearment "glitterhead". Brian instantly rebelled, of course, which was still going according to plan. But then Curt surprised himself and me. *sighs*
