First things first: I've at long last acquired the Edward Scissorhands DVD!!!!! *positively bouncing*

I'm giddy ^___^ I've just updated my SW slash rec post and examination revealed that this far I have recced:

27 Ewan/Hayden fics

14 Ani/Obi fics
(07 of which are WIPs, meaning the links might be removed depending on the story's progress)

18 pieces of Artwork

21 Misc (musicvids, photomanips, stuff that may not be properly slashy but is simply too good not to be bookmarked)

A fairly good number, even though the reccing rate has dropped drastically on the past month. The newest additions are:

kenobi_explains - a community for SW comics by rainyd (writes & draws) and ladyjaida (writes), featuring Obi-Wan "never got enough love from my Master" Kenobi, pestering!Qui-Gon, hotmuffin!Ani & of course, the infinite wisdom of Master Yoda.

One Clear Call (one_clear_call), AU with the certified quality of being co-written by no_me_toques and dormida. Up to part ten this far (WiP).
Summary: Anakin and Obi-Wan have returned to Coruscant after a long deployment in the Clone Wars, but they aren't going to have a chance to remain there for long. Dark forces plot against them, Anakin's temper causes repercussions with the Council and Obi-Wan manages to get himself in a spot of trouble.

Summary: All Jedi are considered traitors to the Republic save two - Skywalker and Kenobi. In the midst of chaos and confusion and even hopelessness, there might still be a chance for love. A different take of events following Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader.

Brilliant fic, I'm in love with it. If only George Lucas would've expanded this well on Ani's turn... Up this far are the prologue and chapters one and two (WiP).

Still in the fandom, I've taken a little time off from work-work-work to craft some icons. They're quite simple but I like them =]

It’s been so long since I’ve visited your journal that I feel positively guilty. :-(

Truth be told, my ancient computer (and consequently ancient software) is having problems uploading your latest layout. (The layout is very beautiful, though. Me likes!) So, while at an internet café printing a letter for my dad, I thought it was about time I dropped by your journal. (No incompatibility problems here!)

I hope you get this comment since I’m replying to an older entry. I don’t know about you but LJ’s notification system hasn’t been working for me at all these past few weeks. Grrr . . .

Anyway, gorgeous icon work as usual. Wanted to congratulate you for it. Also wanted to let you know that I’m still alive and around since I haven’t been what you’d call an ‘active’ presence on the net. It’s good to find you well and in high spirits for the Christmas season. Although I’m not inclined to do the Christmas card thing this year (not that I’m normally inclined to such things to begin with) I have been thinking about you and will try to find a suitable card to send. :-)

Don’t be surprised if the card arrives late. :-p

erm my layout is a bit heavy, yes... *sighs* sometimes I have trouble with it at work, too, where the computer is slower. But Jared's simply too pretty for his own good! I'm glad you like it : )

LJ notification has been misbehaving lately... I can keep reasonable track of the comments on my own posts, but there must be dozens of comments on other people's journals that got replied to and I never answered back. Pity. I wonder what's happening?

*squishes* I'd be delighted if you sent me a card, darling, but there's no need to. And to be true, all of my cards are going to be late... *blushes* I've only just acquired them, Thursday. I've removed my two upper wisdom teeth yesterday so during this weekend of much rest and little, damnlably cold and liquid food, I intend to write as many cards as I can. Thing is, I'm preparing packages to some people, and they're nowhere ready...

And here I am babbling again. Sorry. I just find you incredibly easy to talk to, I guess. I miss you!
