Fandom memes.... I don't think I'll include all of my fandoms, because then it'd get too long. Nicked from practically everyone, but that I can remember, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
soldurios and anathdemalfoy.
The fandom(s) that own your soul: Harry Potter, hands down. I haven't found anywhere else characterisation as elaborate (exception be made tomenel's work and perseph2hades's fics. And razzleslash's too). But what I really love in that fandom is how huge it is, there's always something new and interesting, and so many possibilities! There's someone to work on every kink, character, AU and storyline. There are people who can get cliché plots and make something worth reading. There are too many talented people. Plus, it was the one that truly got me into RP-ing, which is one of my greatest joys.
The backup fandom(s): ..that's almost negative, right? I'd have to say Batman and Vampire Chronicles. Those two get me up when my other fandoms are particularly depressive or inactive.
The fandom(s) you're just getting into: *thinks* I've recently re-joined the Tekken fandom, does that count? Oh, and Spiderman too.
The fandom(s) you ran from, screaming:None, really. I've taken some time away from determined fandoms, but I haven't left any in horror. Just came to mind: X-files. Yes, I could quote Mulderisms and Scullyisms and gods, I can't believe I still know how to type this XD Good times.
The fandom(s) you've lost interest in but might still dabble in: If dabble in would be writing, then it'd be LotR. I adore reading, but nothing seems to come from my fingertips, on that fandom. Also PotC.
The fandom(s) you're curious about but never got into: Fight Club. Slashing it, that is. I've read a few fics, but that's about it. And it seriously intrigues me, because that'd mean, among other things, that Tyler Durden is a dildo.
The fandom(s) you think needs more love: Tekken is in desperate need of someone who bothers enough to work on characterisation and actual plots for multi-chaptered fics. I wish I could drag some people from HP to it. There's so much to do there. In terms of love itself, though, I think I'd have to say HP. People there seem to be always arguing and fighting and flaming >.< Everyone is there for shared love for the books, so whilst it's impossible to be one loving family, people could at least turn a blind eye to mutilating of their beliefs. Everyone has their own opinion on HP characters, and that makes the fandom damn near impossible to be peaceful. It's sad, really.
The fandom(s) that make you want to claw your eyes out: Boyband slash. ... I can't conceive anything less interesting than Boybands, and to spend one's days dealing with possible romantic involvment between the members... argh. Plus, it's all girly teens writing fic, so YAY for badly done fluff, predictable H/C and all those other clichéd situations. >.<
I'll take this one HP-wise only, else there'd be no end to this post.

Fred and George. They still appeal to me.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Sev. I swear, at first he angered me a little, then he amused me and now I adore him. He's the most poke-able character, and such wonderful things can be done with that man. *smoochies him*

James&Lily. I totally miss any semblance of anything likeable in them. They're annoyingly perfect. Guh.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Pansy, I think. People tend to think of her merely as Draco's toadie, and maybe she is, but most of the time they make her seem really stupid or use her only as plot device. It annoys me at times. I take my hat off formistful's Pansy in Underwater Light, though. Hmm. Must check on that fic...
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Difficult one. I'll go with Draco.
Yes.
I mean, I adore Draco. But MY Draco. Canon!Draco is really starting to get on my nerves. He's weak and pathetic and an utterly pointless character who doesn't seem to have a life but to bother Potter. Yes, I realise it's Harry's perspective on the books, etc etc etc, but it still makes me growl in dismay. I do hope that now with Luc's imprisonment he grows out of bratty and imbecilic, childish behaviour into something more resembling of the cunning and sly he should be able to pull off. He's a Malfoy, damnit. He better start acting like one soon.
Or maybe he could just shag Harry. Either option would be a drastic change and make me happy. *shrugs*
Spent practically all of my time awake withdead_pen, today. Only fair since a) it's her birthday *squishes* and b) she's leaving town tomorrow and we won't be able to get in touch often. I wish her all the luck and joy in the world. May uni be great fun for her! The new layout I'm sporting features her artwork. I'd expand on just how much I adore this pic and how gorgeous it is, if only it hadn't reduced my brain to "GUH-GAH" mode ;] Go take a peek at the non-edited version here. I shall desperately fangirl her to my last breath.

Recently, I've been pointed to a Manga website with very cute Vampire Chronicles Fanart, among other things. The girls' work is very good (not outstanding or to leave you gaping, but it is very much worth seeing!!). I especially recommend the VC chibi section. There are some hilarious pieces there XD
I've made 13 icons today, featuring Tekken characters Jin, Hwoarang and the yaoi pairing JinxHwoarang. *POKE*Who else has seen The Aviator? Who else has fallen in near-blind worship of the Scorcese-DiCaprio partnership, Blanchett's captivating Kate Hepburn, Beckinsale's amazing Ava, the cuteness of John C. Reilly and, most of all, a man who can actually direct a film, who can make good use of soundtrack, special effects and deliver those incredible, classic takes that remind us of what film-making was supposed to be all about? *sighs in glee* I have yet to watch Million dollar baby but for now my Oscar preferences lie with one Martin Scorcese. And I loved it that he had Jude Law showing up as Errol Flynn. *amused* XD

Yes, I believe it was, hm, unexpected at least, coming from me.. *shrugs* I do hope he'll grow up. Maybe I feel like this because I have grown up faster than he has, what with JKR's delay to write the books. But there'll be room for improvement now, I'm hoping he'll be... important to the plot. Without turning over, preferably. But by now, with the fiasco of OotP, I'm expecting nearly anything, really.
