when the OT came out, the ones who really got into it were teenagers. Now they've grown up and developed a lot more critical sense, but still adore the old character

That is probably exactly why. I can't exactly claim that the first round of movies were 'better', but the plot was more solid even though the special effects are now outdated.

I heard that George had this long build-up over two movies (of which I watched 1 hwole movie + 20 minutes of Ep2) and then abandon that turning-plot for a different and much faster jump. I have to admit that it surprised me. Anyway, I doubt that I will bother watching Ep3. We'll see when it's out on dvd, or it's shown on TV in a few year's time.

I think the AU ones where Ani ditches Padme and hops merrily into the sunset with Obi are rather popular. A friend asked me if I knew where to find any such, last night. ;-)

PS is awfully expensive... as well as other programs. I have Adobe InDesign at work (software for setting pages and layout and nifty magazine-stuff) and I want it at home too!

I'm so excited that you liked the Snucius idea :-) Will email later today with piccies and with excerpts. *g*
